Lancashire & Yorkshire Dynamometer Car & Directors’ Saloon, working model, 10mm scale, wooden box.  An extraordinary pair of coaches built by Colin Rose.  This is a working dynamometer car with digital readouts for speed and drawbar pull and comes complete with its own calibration track and H&M controller.  The coach has working interior lights controlled by the kitchen’s roof vent!  Coupled to the L&Y Directors’ Saloon, the pair would be run behind locomotives to quantify their performance and in Gauge 1 you can do exactly the same!  The pair of coaches come in a lovely, bespoke wooden box and come with a full set of instructions, drawings and prototype information.
