We have been honoured to given the opportunity to find homes for the last few models built by the last Colin Rose, a locomotive builder of some repute. Bowande BR Class 4MT 2-6-4T No. 80136, BR black, early emblem, butane-fired, 1:32 scale, poor condition. Although it is a good runner, the model is cosmetically poor and needs touching-up and re-lining and lettering. Lining transfers and numbers can be supplied if you so wish, simplifying the job of refreshing the locomotive – SOLD

Lancashire & Yorkshire Dynamometer Car & Directors’ Saloon, working model, 10mm scale, wooden box. An extraordinary pair of coaches built by Colin Rose. This is a working dynamometer car with digital readouts for speed and drawbar pull and comes complete with its own calibration track and H&M controller. The coach has working interior lights controlled by the kitchen’s roof vent! Coupled to the L&Y Directors’ Saloon, the pair would be run behind locomotives to quantify their performance and in Gauge 1 you can do exactly the same! The pair of coaches come in a lovely, bespoke wooden box and come with a full set of instructions, drawings and prototype information – SOLD

Once again, superb models from Colin Rose which assemble into an attractive train of unusual prototypes.
